Here are my test swatches of the two newest fabrics offered by Spoonflower!
First up is a print from a new collection that I'm currently working on. (More sneak peeks coming soon!) It's in the Performance Pique fabric, which is a breathable, wicking knit with 50% horizontal stretch and good recovery even though it's 100% polyester without any lycra spandex. It has a fine pique texture and is perfect for workout tops, but also works well for other knit top styles and casual dresses. It's not really a bottom-weight, but I could see using it to make loose-fit shorts, pants or skirts.
The second swatch is another new print of mine, perhaps destined for another collection as well, and it's in the new Faux Suede fabric. This fabric will be great for home decor projects, accessories and although it's medium weight, it's sturdy enough for upholstery. I love the super soft napped finish.
New things are happening over at Keka.com as well. They've just added new home decor items (throw pillows and coasters) as well as a new Swivel Case style for the iPad. More exciting shop news is that I will soon be opening my own online store. These current styles, and some of my brand new print designs for phone, tablet and home accessories from Keka will be available right here on ModernPrintCraft.com. A lot of work is still to be done however, and I think it's going to be a busy summer setting up shop.
